The Global South Media Network (GSMN) was founded by veteran journalist Abbey Makoe (Mr) in 2023. Its launch took place only months later in 2024 following intense behind-the-scenes work aimed at producing a truly worthwhile news vehicle aimed at providing readers and viewers with fresh approach to journalism.
